Andy and Heidi Belton

Andy and Heidi led our teams in sierra leone in 2007 and 2008. They are now back working in Sussex.

Shaun Byford

Shaun has been working with MIssion Dominican Republic from 2007 to 2009.

 

Lucy Casenova (nee Luget)

Lucy led our teams in Cambodia and Brazil in 2007 before spending 15 months as a Volunteer Manager in our Luton Office. She has recently maried and now returned to nursing

Kathy Clevenger

 

Kathy led our work in Sri Lanka in 2005 and 2006 where we had to cut short our work due to the war in the north where we were working. Kathy helped us in our early stages at Mission Direct and is now working with her family in Nambia.

 

Bev Cooper (nee Petzing)

 

Bev was with us at the start of Mission Direct and led our first teams out in Sierra Leone. She has since married and now working in Reading

 

Marina Cousins

Our own Aussie, Marina is a nurse by background and joined us to help lead the teams in Uganda following 2 short term trips to Sierra Leone. Marina was supported by Portsmouth and Gosport Family Church. www.family-church.org. Marina has now returned to Australia.

Christine Faulkener

 

Christine helped lead our teams in Uganda in 2007 and has since returned there on a number of occassions.

Josh Flowers

Josh joined us as part of a GAP time and helped lead our teams in Cambodia in 2008. He is now at college in London.

 

John and Jane Gunner

John and Jane joined us from the police force on a year out and pioneered leading our work in Moldova in 2008. They also went on to help lead in Brazil and are now living in Hampshire.

Karen Hanna

Karen is from Australia and led our teams in Uganda in 2007 and Cambodia in 2008. After Cambodia she joined the local church New Life Fellowship and now serves among their various outreach programmes to the poor.

Rebekah Hyde

Rebekah helped lead our teams in Moldova in 2009 whilst on tme out form studies as a medical student in Southampton. She has also been with Mission Direct in The Dominican Republic and Zambia.

Daniel Laurmann

 

Daniel is from Germany and has led our teams in Sierra Leone and Cambodia as well as visiting Brazil with us. He is now working in his family business in Germany and engaged to Linda Mezulis, another staff member he met through Mission Direct!

Steve Loryman

Linda Mezulis

Linda has led our work in Sierra Leone, Uganda and Cambodia and also visited Brazil. Now enagaged to Daniel Laurmann, who she met through Mission Direct, Linda has joined our staff to lead and develop our medical and Xtreame team mission trips.

Nick Ogden

Nick joined us as part of a GAP time and helped lead our teams in Cambodia in 2008. He is now at college in London.

Simon and Diane Redmile

Simon and Diane sold their house and possessions in April 2006 and headed off with their 2 children, Beckie and Mikey to live in the Dominican Republic. Working with our partners, Simon helped helped manage the logistics with Elio Madonya in building houses and villages among Haitian slum dwellers and very poor Dominicans. Diane and Simon hosted and lead our teams including work with clinics and people who live and work on the rubbish dump. They were supported by Brackey Baptist Church www.brackley.co.uk/baptist. They are now back in the UK and Simon has returned to his Telecoms role .

Rachael Smith

Rachael worked with Mission Direct leading our short term teams in Sierra Leone and Uganda. Rachael was supported in her work by the Stevenage Vineyard. www.stevenage.vineyard.co.uk Rachael is now back and training to be an architect.

Keith and Vron Stevens

 

Keith and Vron enjoy leadng our teams in Brazil. Having lived there 25 years ago in a business role the people and places are in their hearts. Keith has also joined Mission Direct as a trustee.

Grace Vaate

Grace led our 2005 work in Sri Lanka. Originally from Holland, she lived in New Zealsnd for many years and helped us in our early days. Grace is now wroking in the Solomon Islands.

Angela Warnes

Angela has the distinction of visiting every Mission Direct location and she helped on staff in Brazil in 2007. She is now back retired in Suffolk
