Mission direct has 9 non-executive trustees who are responsible for the strategic development and governance of the charity together with 3 founding executive trustees who are responsible for the day to day operation of Mission Direct .

Paul is a visionary Managing Director with a successful track record in developing and transforming businesses and brands in the UK and internationally with a focus on the healthcare sector. With a background in strategic marketing and business development he is passionate about maximising business potential by creating vision and strategy and delivering it through product and service excellence, innovation and people development.
Paul is married to Fiona and has 2 children. In addition to his Christian and church activities, Paul enjoys the guitar and a variety of sports including golf, tennis and fitness

After training at Spurgeon's College Terry Murphy and his wife Mo have served has served Jubilee Community Church in Maidenhead for the past 23 years. They have a son and daughter and three granchildren. Before becoming a Baptist Pastor, Terry worked as an architect. Since 1993 when Terry first had an opportunity to build relationships with groups of churches in Sierra Leone and Guinea through his links with New frontiers, he has been passionate about sending teams of people to help and share faith. In 2004 he met Nigel Hyde and took a team from his church to Freetown. As a direct result a number of his members are now committed to the vision of Mission Direct, serving the charity here in the UK and in Sierra Leone. Jon is a member of Stopsley Baptist Church in Luton. Married to Debbie and with three children, Jon works as an Independent Financial Adviser with his own practice in St Albans. http://www.trinitywealthmanagement.co.uk/ Jon's business practices biblically based financial planning. In 2005 Jon went to Dominican Republic with his daughter Rachel. They were greatly impacted by the poverty they experienced. Jon returned there in 2006 with a team of his clients. This is a country firmly in Jon's heart and with a friend they raised over £50,000 to see land bought, a school built and a water supply connected to a village of 1,200 people. Jon speaks as part of the Mission Direct speaker network. He is a keen supporter of Portsmouth Football Club, and also a coarse fisherman. |

A founding member of Mission Direct in the USA, Lawrence is married to Debby and from North Carolina. They now live in Texas. Lawrence has lead teams for many years and loves leading and organising Mission Direct trips. He has been responsible for helping to develop much of the programme and approach we take today. Lawrence has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and spent his early working days in that field. He became a Christian and in the 1980's and joined Mercy Ships, an international charity, where he undertook different roles in his his 17 years as a volunteer. |

Keith retired from his role as Director of Personnel for the Lloyds TSB Group in 1998. He had been a human resources specialist for almost 35 years. He joined the Bank of London and South America in 1959, later to become Lloyds Bank International (LBI), and held various personnel/HR roles based in the UK, in international compensation and benefits, management development and succession planning of expatriates, and line personnel management in Brazil. He had responsibilities for management development and training, with particular emphasis on high flyer development and top management succession planning. He was specialist adviser to the Remuneration Committee of the Board. His role also included a large component of organisational rationalisation following the Lloyds TSB merger in December 1995 and the disposal of overseas businesses. Keith has held various directorships connected with his work but in addition : Past Chairman, Bankers Benevolent Fund, Former Director /Trustee, Kingdom Education, owner of The King's School , Harpenden; Former Director /Trustee, Central Asian Research & Development- a forerunner to Frontiers, the church planting organisation to the Moslem world. Formerly , elder/ pastor, Garston Church, Watford, and elder at Watford Community Church. Since retirement Keith has completed projects and assignments for Tearfund and the Church of England, as a member of the Deployment, Remuneration and Conditions of Service Committee; He is involved in the St Albans Diocese with clergy pastoral support. He Is also a Trustee and volunteer of Watford New Hope Trust, serving the homeless and disadvantaged in the Watford. Keith and Vron were team members with Mission Direct in Brazil in 2007 and staff team leaders in 2008 and 2009. Keith is married to Vron and have 4 grown up children. They are members of St Luke's Church, Bricket Wood, who have embraced Mission Direct into its sphere of support. |

Congressman Mac Sweeney - Non-Executive Trustee Former White House Director of Administration and Member of Congress, Mac brings a wealth of legal, financial and Christian Development experience to the non-executive team. Founded and developed a Christian humanitarian training programme in the Middle East in addition to multiple consultancy assignments. Now based in Washington DC, Mac leads an international funding syndicate and is now enabling Mission Direct's development in the USA. he is Chairman of the Trustees for Mission Direct in the USA. Peter Wright - Non Executive Trustee Peter has worked for Boots UK for over 33 years. He currently directs a multi-million pound programme of work integrating 950 Alliance Pharmacy shops into the Boots brand. Involved in St Nic's Church in Nottingham with the rest of the family, he helps run the Alpha programme, helps out with preaching and teaching, and the food programme for the homeless. A trustee for J John with the Philo Trust and a director of the trading company for the Leprosy Mission. Peter is married to Juliet and has four children grown up children. |

Jackie Price - Non-Executive Trustee Jackie is a Chartered Accountant with nearly 30 years experience in senior finance manager roles with a great background in trusts, FSA and charity finance. Currently with her how accounting practice she retired in 2009 from a role as Finance Director for the Kingdom Bank, a niche FSA regulated bank. Prior to that she was Head of Finance for a charitable trust and a housing association. A strong background in the accountancy profession, having trained with a national firm, and continuing as manager for a further 4 years, before moving to commerce and industry. Serious for God; serving in the local church in practical ways as well as part of the finance team. Also home group leader and camp unit leader with her husband. Jackie has also set up the legal and financial requirements of a new debt counselling charity and served as co-founding trustee since 2005. Also served as treasurer and trustee of Leicester Care and Repair for 13 years and a homelessness charity for 8 years. |

Nigel Hyde is Mission Direct's Chief Executive. A Chartered Accountant by background spent several years in audit, including 3 years in Papua New Guinea with Price WaterhouseCoopers. In 1990 he joined Deloitte working initially in Corporate Finance and developed a Forensic Accounting division within the East Midlands. In 1996, Nigel was appointed Finance Director of a Christian Mission based in Cyprus and for 3 years worked largely in Turkey and Egypt. In 1999, he returned to the UK and joined Mercy Ships, a global charity. There he worked on a capital appeal and managed the finances before founding a Missions programme within the UK called Mission Challenge. Mission Direct grew out of this work and now contributes to improving many lives. Nigel is married to Susan and has 4 children, Rebekah, Natasha, Georgina and Suzannah. His experience in the Christian, Charity, International Development and Finance Sectors provide Mission Direct a firm foundation. |

Tim Martindale is an Executive Trustee and Country Director for Mission Direct and a founding member. Tim is a Chartered Architect with a degree in Architecture from Manchester University. Tim established his own practice, undertaking work for over 25 years in the public and private sectors, largely on education, housing, health and commercial projects before retiring from commercial work to spend more time with Mission Direct. Tim is also non executive trustee of Anglo Indian Concern, supporting the poor and disadvantaged amongst the Anglo Indian community in Chennai, India and South East Asian Outreach, a Christian charity working in Cambodia. Tim with his wife Pam have four children and are members of Godmanchester Baptist Church, near Huntingdon.
