Got a few “collectables” gathering dust? Look no further…
We were delighted to receive a financial gift this week from an organisation we had never heard from before: Northwood Missionary Auctions. They host regular auctions of antiques and collectables given to them. The donor states which mission organisation they wish the proceeds to be passed on to. Northwood then gives 100% of the winning bid to the charity that the donor has suggested.
It turns out that they have been raising money for mission organisations for over 40 years now. The Vice President is none other than Sir Cliff Richard. MD wonders how the ‘Peter Pan of Pop’ feels about being associated with antiques…
