RR client status and mailings
(Use of "he" or "she" in the text below is not intended to convey any gender bias)
In RR client status refers to the mailing status
It can be "good" - i.e. he will potentially be sent any type of mailing from Crosslinks. Note that categories must in addition be completed to indicate magazines or prayer news required
It can be "suspended" This is done when Crosslinks has reason to believe that mail is not getting through. If you know better you can change it back to "good" - but check any comments that have been entered first
It can be "none" which indicates that no mailings should be sent. This is used when a client has more than one B number because of Gift Aid. A Gift Aid declaration must be from an individual, so a giver has his own B number and gift record. However if he is half of a married couple, the couple will probably have another B number which is used for magazines etc. The wife may have a third B number for her giving. Only the joint B number should be marked "good" status - the individual records should be marked "mail none"
It may be "deceased" Unless a mistake has been made this is unlikely to want changing - until none of us need RR again!
