- Enter RR5 with your password: Note that case is important, normally everything
is in capital letters
- Click on RR name (the ReadyRiter "banner")
- Click on Client Records

- To enter a new record, click on:

- At top of form complete the Name field in the form Mr P D Cottingham (If you make a mistake completing a field use the normal keyboard delete or backspace keys)
- Search name field: enter surname again eg Cottingham
- Dear: This the salutation that will be used in a letter, e.g. Peter, or
Mr Cottingham Remember that this is how every letter coming from anyone
in the Crosslinks empire will now be addressed. Is that appropriate ?
- Organisation: fill in if known
- Position: This field is only visible if an organisation has been entered. Fill if known.

- Click on Address tag
- Principal address: IGNORE
- Enter postcode: IGNORE
- Address line 1: House name eg Dunentrin (no inverted commas to be used)
- Address line 2: Number Street name eg 61 Lower Road
- Address line 3: District name if any eg Great Amwell
- Post town: Must be entered eg Ware
- County: if known eg Herts
- Postcode: leave gap in middle as usual eg SG12 9SZ
- Mailing status: if needed - Good (indicates magazines etc will be sent)
If address only, no mailing - Mail none (no mags to be sent to this address)
DO NOT USE OTHER OPTIONS - tell 251 of a death
- Phone: enter full dialling code including country code if outside UK eg 01920 463477 or
0034 952 2431542
- Fax: enter full dialling code including country code if outside UK
- Mobile: if known
- Email: if known
- Mailing names: click on down arrow to show options.

- SAVE RECORD - from menu on R side of record
- Dialogue box: Click OK
- If wrong, click on Undo change (from menu on R side of record). This will delete items from all address fields, so you can start again
