To Import changes from CD

This is necessary to keep your copy of RR5 up to date, with changes made at 251 and by other RC's

Remember that if you have made any changes since you exported and sent to 251 they will be lost - you need to make a note of them now and re-enter after you have imported

 

If you have the "import from CD" short cut
  1. Put CD in drive, wait until CD drive has started up (about 30 seconds)
  2. Click on the "import from CD" icon
  3. Confirm - and after a little while you will be told the copying has been successful

After the import it is worth checking in RR5 that your most recent changes (before you exported!) are still in RR5

If you don't have the "import from CD" short cut
  1. Put CD in your drive
  2. Use My Computer or Windows Explorer to look at it
  3. Select the file by left-clicking its name
  4. Control C to copy to clip-board
  5. Open folder C:\RR5\RRB
  6. Control V to paste the file. Yes when it asks you "Do you want to replace..."
  7. Now right-click the file you have just pasted in C:\RR5\RRB, and left-click Properties. Make sure that "Read Only" is not selected. (Click on the tick box if it is). OK
