Receipts: fund 

Allows selection by donations to a fund in a time period
Have discovered that it is possible to make a selection in RR5 by donations to a fund in a time period. It takes several minutes to do the selection but it means that you can then use RR5 to send letter to the selection, and it would be recorded by RR5 that you had sent the letter.

Selections
Make sure you have zero people selected at present
Selection processes
Receipts:fund
Complete the values (apparently this means gift amount) fields - don't leave the minimum one at 0... or it will apparently select everyone in the database!
Select the fund from the dropdown list
Enter the period you want 
Action: select

Selection by Source of client 
Eg Smile 2002

Selection by Searchnames
Enter cott to select everyone beginning with cott

Selection by RefNo
Enter a range of reference numbers (eg B00021 to B00100)

Selection by Receipts type
Allows selection of people who have given by eg a legacy

Selection by Receipts source
People whose gift triggered by particular appeal

Selection by Receipts selectively
As selection of donors to fund over period, but allows further refinement by type and source

Selection by level of receipts is not yet available – but we could ask Don to do it

Refining a selection - example, make a selection by postcode, then make selection according to mailing status. Only choice available is status "good" then "refine" You will now get only those people in your postcode whose mailing status is good (i.e omit those who are deceased or "none" mail)
