Sending Letters

Before you can print letters you need to have selected the clients (people) to whom you wish to send letters. 

Or you can send a letter to one client whose record you have found, by clicking on the "Write Letter" button on the right hand side of the client record - then go step 5 below.

You also need to have written the letter that will be mail-merged, and registered it with ReadyRiter. Alternatively you must have modified an existing letter already registered with ReadyRiter

 

  1. Enter Ready Riter if not already there. Enter RR5 with your password: Note that case is important, normally everything is in capital letters
  2. Click on RR name (the ReadyRiter "banner")
  3. Click on "Letters, Labels Emails"
  1. Click on “send letters
  1. Click on one of your registered letters in the "Letter" drop down box.
You can preview the letter (note that none of the mail merge fields are filled in at this stage - you  haven't yet done the merge)

Click Print Letters in Word and the merge takes place and a copy of your letter is printed for each client you have selected.
