RR5 Source Codes
Def: These are where a gift came from. They are different to Client Source codes (=where a person’s name came from).
How they work: The first letter denoted the type of request for money, the second letter who the request was made to and the third when the request was made. In the table below bold denotes the letter or figure that is used.

Exceptions to this are
a) where a particular type of mailing which will be used over the years is sent. For instance Mission Partner Requests for money are likely to continue over the years so we have called this source MPR, Mission Partner Request.
b) The magazine
M=Mailing
1=First edition of the year
4=2004
Therefore the January magazine is M14.
c) Old source Codes
d) SMILE source codes
Sources are agreed and added between Karen and Martin.
