“I’m so thankful for the opportunity I had to go to Gambia this summer. We had an amazing time. Your organisation and help throughout was much appreciated.”  - Fran

We organise these in conjunction with an individual group - perhaps a church youth group, or a university CU group for example. In practice this means that we can’t usually accept applications from individuals to go on a short summer trip, but if you would be interested in organising a group from your church (or wherever), or if you can persuade your youth group leader to do so, then we’d be very interested in hearing from you.

Whilst we’re realistic about what a team can achieve in a two-three week trip, we’re excited and encouraged by the ways God works through them. Many of those who go have been inspired to consider longer-term mission, and also come back wanting to serve more in their home church setting. Team leaders have seen huge changes in the maturity of their group members as they interact with God’s people in a different country and see Him at work in the lives of others. Like our longer team placements, as well as meeting new people and experiencing a different culture, the emphasis is on practical service and evangelism.
