Bishop Francis Ntiruka sent fifteen Crosslinks sponsored evangelists to 15 villages just before Christmas 2000 with a brief to plant churches. Eight months into the project they were responsible for 32 congregations of which 22 are brand new. In June 2001 (the last date we have complete figures for), the evangelists were responsible for over 1150 people in these congregations.
