New staff in the UK Karen Scutt has joined Crosslinks as Individual Supporter Development Manager. Karen comes from Oasis Trust where she worked in fundraising. She’ll be giving Mission Partners help and advice on raising their own funds and also raising funds for wherever needs are greatest in Crosslinks. But be warned; one of the events she’s thinking of organising is a sky dive! Alan Purser joins Crosslinks as Regional Team Leader. Alan comes from local church work at St Paul’s, Hadley Wood and brings that dimension to the team as well as experience of the Church of the Province of South Africa. He’ll be based in the London area to provide a vital link with other aspects of Crosslinks’ operations, and he’ll have a remit with churches in this area, too. New roles
Bridget Hathaway has moved to the deanery of Kayanga outside Murgwanza in Tanzania where she’ll be establishing a community based healthcare programme for the disabled which is being sponsored by the local Anglican church.
Jem Hovil will become Project Director for Trust in Christ from September 2004, involved in hands-on training in the developing world. Jem and the family will be based initially in Kampala, Uganda and he hopes to remain an Associate with Crosslinks.
