  arising as an issue with all the press
  and media coverage;

• The programme by the government
  towards democracy. Only God can
  change things;

• Links with Aung San Suu Kyi
  and the democracy movement. She
  will need to change too;

• Reconciliation in the stalemate in
  Mohnyin.

Tanzania - Diocese of Kagera

Please pray for:

• The Bible School and its strategic
  Gospel ministry as it aims to equip
  evangelists from all over the Diocese
  to lead congregations with no pastor;

• At Easter 2004, the hospital will have
  only one doctor left. There is need
  for doctors with a sense of urgency of
  the Gospel as well as skilled hands
  and compassionate hearts;

• A well organised HIV/AIDS control
  programme with voluntary
  confidential testing and counselling
  centres with professional educators
  creating HIV awareness and leading
  to changed attitudes and behaviour.

Please pray for:

• Christians willing to serve as
  members of Church Planting Teams
  in various countries of South East
  Asia, using English language
  teaching as a ministry platform;

• Good relations with other Christian
  traditions and denominations;

• Partnership in proclaiming the
  Gospel between local churches
  in South-East Asia, the Diocese
  of Singapore and the Western
  churches.
