News from Myanmar

On Friday 30 January whilst Crosslinks President, Chris Wright, and Andy Lines were wrapping
up a School of Biblical Training (SBT) in Yangon, Myanmar, news reached us of the death of Canon EW (Rufus) Francis. Canon Francis had started his work in the Arakan in 1932. The SBT saw 50 people from all over Myanmar gathered for 5 days to work at improving preaching skills. A warm invitation has been extended to repeat the SBT next year with up to 120 people. The Lord continues to build on the foundations laid nearly 80 years ago.
