Exodus 17 tells us of the victory over Amalek. Moses held the rod of God, Aaron
and Hur supported him and Joshua “discomfited Amalek and his people with
the edge of the sword”.

Without God there would have been no successful battle. But each of the four
men was vital to the success of the day. Three of the four would not have been
enough – each had a unique responsibility and only when they worked together
was Amalek defeated.

It is easy to translate that into the way we work in mission. Without God there
is no victory. Separately we are workers, administrators, pray-ers, givers.
Together we enable God’s Word to go out to God’s World.

This annual report, written mainly by you, gives us the opportunity to see what
together we have been able to do under God this year. Thank you for your part
in it – it’s been a joy to work with you.
