The current slogan for London is “7 million Londoners, 1 London”, but it is not
the only multi-cultural or multi-faith city.We look at what it is to be a Christian
in a multi-faith world, in Africa, Asia, Europe – and England.

In our outreach we think of the Great Commission – “Go and make disciples
of all nations”, Matthew 28:19 (see "the last word"), and Christ’s new commandment – “As I have loved you, so you must love one another”, John 13:34 . (see "why teach Islam") Loving in all its dimensions, including loving enough to see them disciples of Christ.

I hope this issue gives you a clearer picture of the life of a mission partner or national living in a predominantly ‘other faith’ area (and that means almost all of us) – and that you will be better able to pray, and be prepared for your own response.
