In
memory
Not
only did Caroline
Stokes witness
to and teach women and children in Ethiopia, she also supported
her husband David, raised a family and ‘mothered’ all
who came in contact with her. Prayer and praise were always top on
her agenda. Caroline’s funeral was on 21 November 2005. Dr
Evalyn Neech was
working in India when she met and married Alan. An
excellent doctor and a wonderful listener, she continued
to provide valuable support to Alan on his appointment as
Overseas and then General Secretary. She died on 15
February 2006.
An
appreciation of Caroline Stokes
Arctic
Fire

Our
thoughts are with those in the Diocese of the Arctic whose
cathedral in Iqaluit (see above) was destroyed in the
fire. We thank God that no one was hurt but feel for those who
had been saving towards an extension.
