How money comes and goes

Despite the fact missionaries are taught at Bible College how to live on only half the food it takes to keep mere mortals alive, some money is required to keep the work going.

Unfortunately, although it can be cheaper in some respects to live in some foreign parts there are things like airfares, schooling and equipment costs to be met. These can be high. And of course for mission partners living in other parts of Europe and other wealthier parts of the world the general cost of living is similar to the UK.

Sometimes a mission partner can earn something in local work, but often this is  not allowed, and even if it is what can be done has to be limited if he or she is to do what he really went for. So money, quite a lot of it has to be found.
