Crosslinks Legacy

Part of the reason that Crosslinks can do much of its work today is through the foresight of those who left gifts in their wills to Crosslinks. If you would like to leave a gift in your will or amend your will you may want to read "You and your legacy".

If you decide to do so, please ask whoever is drawing up your will for you to include a gift to Crosslinks, using one of the following options:

If you wish to leave everything to Crosslinks, use a form of words like this:

I give and bequeath to the Treasurer for the time being of Crosslinks (registered charity number 24 99 86) of 251 Lewisham Way, London SE4 1XF, for the general purposes of Crosslinks my Residual, Real and Personal Estate and I declare that the receipt of the Treasurer, or other proper Officer for the time being, of Crosslinks shall be an effectual discharge for the said Residue.

If you wish to leave a proportion of your estate to Crosslinks, use a form of words like this:

I give and bequeath to the Treasurer for the time being of Crosslinks (registered charity number 24 99 86) of 251 Lewisham Way, London SE4 1XF, for the general purposes of Crosslinks such a sum as shall be equal to (fraction) of my whole Residual, Real and Personal Estate and I declare that the receipt of the Treasurer, or other proper Officer for the time being, of Crosslinks shall be an effectual discharge for the said sum of money.

If you wish to leave a fixed amount to Crosslinks, use a form of words like this:

I give and bequeath to the Treasurer for the time being of Crosslinks (registered charity number 24 99 86) of 251 Lewisham Way, London SE4 1XF, for the general purposes of Crosslinks the sum of (X) pounds and I declare that the receipt of the Treasurer, or other proper Officer for the time being, of Crosslinks shall be an effectual discharge for the said Legacy.
