Crosslinks Prayer News - 25 April 2008

This week please pray for the following:

1. Please pray for Andy and Mandy Lines who are in Finland from the 24th to
the 28th April. Please pray for Andy and Mandy as they meet up with mission
partners, Jonathan and Jessica Heeb. Pray also for Andy as he gives four
Bible studies and two talks at the Conference for International Churches.
Pray for strength and stamina for Andy at this busy and stretching time for
him.

2. Pray for Jo Sayer who will be flying out to Tanzania on the 27th April
until the 15th May. Jo will be visiting Crosslinks mission partners,
associates, study partners and many Bishops. Please pray for safety in
travel and for good health. Please pray also for wisdom in all
conversations, for her to be an encouragement to the mission partners and
for partnerships with Dioceses to be renewed and new ones started.

3. Please pray for Dawn Styles involved in English teaching in Hastings.
Thank God for the students of different nationalities who attend Dawn's
class and pray for her to have opportunities to talk about Jesus with them.
Please pray for a Vietnamese lady who Dawn had the privilege of leading to
the Lord. This lady will be moving away next month so please pray that she
can find a good Bible believing church and continue to be built up in her
faith.

4. Please pray for the Gambia and Uganda SMILE teams who will be returning
to England in the middle of May after their four months in Africa. Please
pray for them as they leave the friends they have made and return to their
homes here. Pray for them as they re-enter their home culture and adjust to
England again.

5. Please continue to pray for Janet Horsman who is still signed off work
with stress. Pray for Janet as she goes to see an Occupational Therapist at
Interhealth - that she might be given advice and help on how to deal with
her situation and how to take small steps forward.

6. Please pray for Rob Mullock in the Church Partnerships Team as he will be
preaching at All Soul's Church, Eastbourne on the 27th April. Please pray
for him that God will speak through His Word as Rob opens it to the
congregation and that the church will be enthused and want to be engaged in
mission as a result of the visit.

7. Please pray for Karen Jefferys who will be speaking at a church in
Southport on Sunday 27th April about Crosslinks and specifically about the
work of Bridget Hathaway. Please pray for safety in travel for Karen and
her husband as they drive to Southport and pray for Karen as she speaks that
she will communicate effectively and that the church will be inspired and
excited by what they hear.

8. Please continue to pray for the country of Zimbabwe and for Kate who is
back in England and still uncertain as to when to return to Harare. Please
pray for wisdom in her decision-making and for justice and peace to be
restored to the country.

9. Please pray for Peter and Jackie who will be visiting mission
partners in North Africa from 17th to 26th May. Pray for safe travel, good
health and positive and encouraging conversations with our mission partners
who work in this part of the world where it is difficult to be a Christian
and where evangelism is a challenge.

10. Please pray for Katy , a new mission partner, who will be flying
to south Asia on the 5th May. Katy will be going to work with a church 
and running an informal education project. Pray for Katy as she leaves
family and friends behind - pray that she will settle in quickly, find a
suitable house and that she will be disciplined in her language study during
these first few months.
