Our teams in each country are typically led by 3 - 6 self funding volunteers who live there for the duration of each campaign. We are looking for mature Christians who will take overall charge of the teams as a country manager, and others to support them in this work.
Before going we provide appropriate training ensuring you are equipped for the job. No previous experience is necessary, though where possible we encourage people to do a 2 week trip with us before embarking on a leadership role.
Some skills are particularly helpful including building, project management , the ability to keep on top of the logistics of major tasks, to keep finances on a spreadsheet or simply the ability to love and care for our 2 week volunteers as well as the people you have come to serve.

One reason Mission Direct’s solutions are so cost effective, is that our team leaders make a contribution to cover their own costs. This is kept to a minimum by ensuring only direct outreach costs are requested to be covered. This means we don’t require any contribution to our overheads. Every penny goes directly to the country project your are serving.
