Prayer Update June 2004
Dear Friends,
We’re all doing well here. Thank you for all your prayers. The temperature here has dropped and we are entering into the raining season. It will be cooler and greener but the mosquitoes will be waking up!!!. We are arming ourselves for war against them. Here is our news:
- We plan to start a church in September and we have found some land that is ideal. It is well situated. We are thanking God for that.
- We have started training 6 people as potential leaders. Sena will meet with them twice a week over the next 3 months
- We have started a cell group of a dozen people in an area of the town called « Carnaval ». It is a rough area of town.
- We are running a children’s Bible club fortnightly. On average 150 children from the town come regularly. We are training 3 youth to help and to lead it later on.
- Our Moba language lessons are going well. We are learning at the moment vocabulary for how to deal in the market.
We Praise God for His encouragement and the ways in which we are seeing Him at work. Please Pray with us for:
- Our health as over the last month we have had some attack in this area. It seemed that we took it in turns to be ill in one way or another.
- The new cell we started. May it be a light in that area
- The potential leaders that God will protect them and will work deeply in their hearts.
- God to reveal Himself to the children in the Bible club
- Wisdom. We are making important decisions as we prepare to start the church in September.
