Thank you for praying for us. We would like
you to know that our 3 day students and apprentices Seminar went well. We
are preparing now for our first Sunday morning service on September the 19.

Prayer Update September 2004
Greeting from Dapaong. We’ve just come back from holidays in Lomé. It was refreshing time. We’re all fine by God’s grace. Eloïse is a year old now and is walking. Joshua is becoming a specialist at greeting people in the local language. Here is some news and prayer requests:
Please pray for our safety:
- In April some thieves came during the night to steal chickens.
- In June Sena was being followed for about a week by a member of a well-know group of thieves. Fortunately Sena noticed and had him arrested. To cut a long story short the guy, who was young and new in the group apologised and decided to leave the group before becoming further involved.
- In July on holiday Sena and I were attacked one evening by 5guys who stole Jane’s bag in which we had Sena’s passport, Jane’s driving licence and credit card. Fortunately we were not physically harmed and we are very much aware of God’s protection.
In July while we were away, a snake ( a viper ) came into our courtyard and killed three chicks. Thankfully the night watchman managed to kill it. - We are now in the rainy season ( July through to September ) with lots of mosquitoes
In all this we are grateful to God for his protection and thankful for your prayers
News:
- Sena will be leading a three day seminar for students from September 1st to the 3rd.
- We’re intending to start the church here on Sunday the 19 September with about 30 people already linked with the Church “Ministère de Jésus” plus some new ones we are witnessing to. We will be meeting in a temporary building but we hope to soon be able to build our own building.
- There will also be 6 cell groups starting.
