Baskerville, Phil and Sarah - Kenya

Rev Phil and Mrs Sarah Baskerville are Crosslinks Associates. Their children are:  Tom, Megan, Rachel Lydia and Brandon. Phil will be chaplain at St Andrew’s School Turi, and will also teach. Sarah will also teach part-time

Phil and Sarah were Crosslinks mission partners in Kenya, 1993-1997, at St Paul’s Theological College, Kapsabet. Phil was Director of Lay Training for the Diocese of Eldoret and pioneered and developed their TEE programme. Sarah, a trained primary school teacher, continued her connections with Kapsabet School for Deaf Children, where she had previously helped as an AIM volunteer.

They returned to Barnston parish on the Wirral where Phil has served as Associate Minister with Paddy Benson, and in 2002 Phil led a short-term team from the church back to Eldoret. Since 2001 he’s been involved with “ Bible Explorer” – an international organization offering 5 week programmes to Years Five and Six in Primary Schools – designed to give children an exciting and interactive overview of the Old Testament and the New Testament. He’s established a team of trained presenters who’ve run the programme in 50 out of 90 schools on The Wirral.
