2008 Prayer LetterI am attached to the Kenya Medical Research Institute/Wellcome Trust Research Unit at Kilifi as a medical researcher and doctor working mainly with severely malnourished children. The unit provides all the children's ward services for the government district hospital whilst also doing studies on common diseases such as malaria, pneumonia, HIV, neonatal jaundice and malnutrition. I will be involved in studies looking at cultural and spiritual beliefs underlying malnutrition as well as improving treatment guidelines on diarrhoea in malnutrition.
I am a member of St. Thomas' Anglican Church Kilifi which is planning 2 church plants in 2007.
